Compliance Manager
Having worked in many sectors of the Financial Services industry, including as an adviser for a number of years, Helen found her niche in Compliance; and bringing regulation to life and helping build relationships between financial firms and end retail clients. Helen became Compliance Manager at PWS in 2011.
Helen takes the responsibility of looking after clients’ money as a privilege, and her skills mean she looks for solutions to challenges that improve and have a visible benefit. Helen enjoys mentoring younger colleagues as well as continually developing her own skills to be the best version of herself she can. Helen is an Associate of the Chartered Management Institute, as well as a holder of advanced Chartered Insurance Institute financial qualifications, including Discretionary fund Management.
Helen’s personal beliefs and cultures are further evidenced in her work on the Positive Pennine Portfolios, taking social impact investing to retail clients in a risk-controlled, multi-asset combination. A passionate advocate in this area, Helen enjoys educating and discussing issues with advisers, firms and retail clients alike (although she no longer advises directly).
