The Academy brings together those organisations and bodies who believe that social impact investing has the power to help create a better world. The lead speaker was Elizabeth Corley CBE. In 2014 Elizabeth was asked by HM Treasury, the Bank of England and the FCA to chair a panel of market practitioners, to contribute to the Fair and Effective Markets Review. Elizabeth also chairs an advisory group to the UK Government on growing a culture of social impact investing in the UK.
This seventh annual academy was a huge success attended by 150 delegates from the regulators, the IFA industry, investment management firms, the national press, and the financial compliance sector.
Many IFA’s, are now alive to the fact that many of their investor clients, really do care about environmental and social issues.
